Founder Profile - Ian

Ian is the founder of The Muay Thai Studio, a fitness-focused Muay Thai gym built to help individuals improve strength, confidence, and overall well-being through structured and authentic training.

 

With a diverse martial arts background and years of coaching experience, Ian combines traditional Muay Thai techniques with modern fitness methods to create safe, effective, and results-driven programmes for members of all levels.

​

Ian began his martial arts journey at the age of seven, starting with Wushu before progressing into Muay Thai, Aikido, and later Muay Boran.

 

He holds a Khan 10 grading under the Kru Muay Thai Association (KMA) and has completed the Referees & Judges Muay Thai Course (National Referee & Judge – Muay Thai Amateur/Pro-am/Professional Class C) under both the World Muay Thai Organization (WMO) and Kru Muay Thai Association (KMA).

 

These achievements strengthen his technical foundation and reinforce his commitment to delivering high-quality, safe instruction.

Co-Founder Profile - Nik

With over 18 years of experience in Muay Thai, Kru Nik brings a powerful blend of traditional martial arts foundations and modern competitive training. Backed by 12 years of pad-holding experience and 11 years of coaching, he specializes in developing technically sound, intelligent fighters while preserving the cultural depth of the art.

  • Focus on technical precision, ring IQ, controlled aggression, and authentic Thai fundamentals
